Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Nuggit account and the data attached to it. It covers the Nuggit app on Google Play and the App Store, and getnuggit.com. Nuggit is a daily meal delivery service in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

How to delete your account

You can do this yourself, in the app, without contacting us.

  1. Open the Nuggit app and sign in.
  2. Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete. You are signed out immediately and can no longer sign in.
Uninstalled the app, or can’t sign in? Email us at hello@getnuggit.comfrom the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with. We’ll verify it’s you and delete the account for you within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything we hold about you and your household is erased:

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • The identifier your sign-in provider gave us for Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
  • Your delivery addresses, and any precise coordinates you chose to share.
  • Household members you added, and their dietary preferences.
  • Your subscription, pauses and skips.
  • Your delivery and order history, meal ratings and nutrition history.
  • Your wallet balance and its full transaction ledger.
  • Your notification tokens and the record of notifications we sent you.
  • Any “notify me when you deliver here” request you submitted.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Tax and payment records.Indian law requires us to retain invoices and payment records for a statutory period, so these are kept for as long as the law requires and then deleted. We never hold your card, UPI or bank details — those stay with our payment provider.
  • Aggregate counts.Totals used to plan how much food to cook, such as “42 vegetarian lunches in this building tomorrow”. These carry no personal details and cannot be linked back to you.
  • Advertising measurement held by Meta.If you visited our website, Meta holds browser identifiers we sent so we could tell which ads worked. They carry no name, email address or phone number, so there is no nuggit account over there for us to delete — erasing your account here does not reach it. You can clear it yourself: Facebook or Instagram → Settings → Accounts Centre → Your information and permissions. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what gets sent.

How long it takes

Deletion takes effect the moment you confirm: you are signed out, you cannot sign back in, and your subscription stops. The underlying records are then permanently erased 30 days later.

That 30-day window exists so an account deleted by mistake can be recovered. If you change your mind, email hello@getnuggit.com within 30 days and we can restore it. After 30 days our records are gone and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

If you have unused wallet credit when you delete your account, email us within those 30 days so we can refund it to your original payment method.
